Elaine, The IGI is a good tool for finding information but is by no means a complete resource. The most up to date version is that on the LDS web site at www.lds.org but the rule is always to check the IGI results against the referenced source as it has been known to be notoriously inaccurate in places. The only real place to find the information you want is from the local records for an area. The IGI is good at pointing you in the right direction. I wondered whether it was worth searching again, however. Is the IGI updated and added to constantly or has it remained static for some time? Does anyone on the list know please? Thanks, Elaine
Many thanks to all those who replied to my query on the IGI. I shall keep searching with crossed fingers! Yours, Elaine Saunders
