Hi Susan, The entry: Wm Hawkings for Wd Hattley 0/1/6 As I understand it, means that Widow Hattley owned the property, rented from her by William Hawkings (could be one of mine). The rate of 1 shilling, 6 pence was assessed to pay into the Poor fund for parish care of the poor. I'm quite willing to be corrected on any of this.
