Hi! I have searched and searched for William Palmer and Sophia. I found their marriage in 1789 in Newton Bromswold Northamptonshire. His daughter Mary Ann who married John Ekin Black alias Blackwell states on the 1851 census that she was born in St. Neots. There are at least 6 or 7 entries in the IGI stating him being born in St. Neots. But the marriage says he was from Higham Ferrers. I found him being born in 1766 in Finedon, NHS and his father was from Earls Barton, NHS Can anyone tell me why he was in St. Neots? Work, family, what? There is a William Palmer Priest in St. Neots...but it is not him from the wills I have searched. Any help would be appreciated Regards Nina
