    3. This is a general thank you, before I reply individually, for the help I've received on the above topics. It proved that the list wasn't asleep, too! I've been on it before and found it very quiet, as it is at present - does anyone have any theories about why this is so? Is it because Hunts is so tiny? If that's it, perhaps we're all related. Now that could be fun! So I'll send another message, with all my names, and see what that turns up. All the best, Phoebe

Hi all, Although we joined the list recently, we must have deleted some of the messages as the subject line isn't prefixed with [ENG-HUNT] or similar designation - all the other lists we've tried seem to do that and we find it a useful identifier. So we no doubt deleted the non-prefixed messages thinking they may be spam and wondered if anyone else has done the same? - it might be a contributory factor to a quiet list perhaps? Anyway, our main interests are on our PRIOR (to early 1700's) and AMPS (to early 1600's) families and we'd be pleased to hear from anyone who has related information.
