Thanks to Jan and Doug for replies. I am already aware of the WATERNEWTON CULPINS but they do not seem to shelter my Charlotte in their family.The SPALDING family don't fit either as Charlotte stated her father was James and a shoemaker! Which fits with Northhants doesn't it. Of course Charlotte could have been baptised a Nonconformist I realise and also perhaps not ever baptised. Also Charlotte may not have been her baptismal name.
