Looking for any further info on the families of Susanna(h) ATKINSON and John TURGOOSE, who were married 24 Oct 1775 in Fen Stanton, Hunts. One child of this marriage was William, born/christened in 1776, St. Ives. William died in 1814 St. Ives, leaving his widow Ann and 3 surviving daughters. Anyone able to help out further? Hi All The earlist Breeze I've found in the Ramsey registers is William Breeze date and place of birth unknown who married Bridgett White also date and place of birth unknown. They were married 30th October 1677 in Ramsey St Thomas a'Beckett Church. I can find no earlier reference to Breeze which leads to me think he arrived in Ramsey some time before 1677. There are a couple of refrences to earlier Whites. Mary and Susan daughters of Thomas born between 1662 aqnd 1665 and Alice daughter of James White born 1663. Bridgett may have been born during the period when records were not kept or the Whites may have arrived during that time bringing Bridgett with them. Could SKS check the Hunts marriage index (I only have Ramsey) for any previous White or Breeze marriages that might fit the bill. regards and thanks in advance Ted NSW Australia

Hi Listers It's that time again where I remind everyone about the Huntingdonshire Look-up Exchange. For anyone who doesn't know what it's all about, it is an ever-growing list of volunteers who have resources in their possession and who are willing to do "look-ups". Why not take a look? Please take time to read the instructions if this is your first visit - You will find the Hunts Lookup page at: http://members.tripod.com/AztecRose/huntingdon/hun.html I'm always on the look-out for more volunteers to undertake look-ups for fellow researchers in any area such as; tax lists, electoral rolls, directories, census indexes, indexed parish registers etc., etc., and if you are willing to add your name to this list, then please email me, at gagudju@ozemail.com.au your contribution will be gratefully accepted. I am also looking for anyone willing to be a Lookup Exchange Administrators for other English Counties. Please contact me. Go to http://aztecrose.tripod.com/LookupExchange.htm I would like to thank all volunteers who are listed for their continued support. I have been trying on Ancestry to locate my WATTS ancestors on the 1841 census. They lived in the village of Chesterton (not the 'suburb' of the City of Cambridge with the same name). From previous correspondence with Margaret Long, she tells me she can see the following information (on fiche?):- 1841 census CATES CABIN, GREAT NORTH RD CHESTERTON. JOHN WATTS 55 INNKEEPER, YES BORN COUNTY. ELIZABETH 60 " " GEORGE 20 " " Can anybody please send me the page reference as I cannot seem to find it at all. I want to see who else was living in the village at the time. I have even tried taking some other people from the 1851 census and looking for them, but cannot find anybody in the village at all. Either it has not been transcribed or I am doing something silly (senile decay?). Help please. Thanks Yvonne
