UK Surnames Web Site The UK Surnames Web Site is an extension of the already established and successful Cumbria Surnames Site. As a result of that success and acquiring the resources to do so, we have extended the site to cover the whole of the United Kingdom including a specific section for Huntingdonshire. The site allows users to instantly post their own surname interests (no need to wait for site admin to update), manage their own entries and contact others researching names they are interested in through forms on the site The main aim of the expansion is to provide a "one stop shop" for surname contacts whilst still reducing the burden of searching by keeping them grouped by county or region. If you are interested in posting or browsing, please visit us at www.county-surnames.co.uk/index.mv Thank you Malcolm Hills [email protected] NEW FEATURE: It is now possible to search for a particular surname across the entire site, not just by county as before

Thought I'd repost my interests especially looking for the marriage of John Tinkler and Ann Lyndsey (of Barrowden) in period between 1806 (when she would be *just* of age, and 1812 (when their first born Charles was born, christened Stamford)' Likely to be within a roughly 30 mile radius of Stamford. They lived on the Kimbolton Estate as tenants of the Duke of Manchester, who lived in Kimbolton Castle, in the Great House, orchards and some other buildings including the small tenament NANSOYS PIGHTLE. Does anyone have the family info on this line? We have the following details so far: Lieutenant Jonathan Warner Esq. Brown 1816; Parents of Jonathan above: Charles WARNER [B: 1750; D: 21/1/1794; married 1780] and Sarah Warner nee MACKNESS Charles was the son of Jonathan Warner [B: 1720 D: 1784 married 1749] Jonathan Warner had three children 1; Charles Warner m Sarah Mackness 2: Mary Warner married William GIBBONS in 1788 and 3: John WARNER m. Ann NICHOLSON sister of Brig. Gen Robert Nicholson. We have almost the full Australian line on Jonathan Warner and are searching for further details of his family heritage. Can anyone help?
