Could someone explain why the following information would be listed with a birth ? I have an ancestor born in 1877 in the district of Edmonton, which I understand is now in Greater London. However, the birth info lists the county as Essex, Hertfordshire & Middlesex. I didn't think it could be all three. Is there an explanation and would this person be considered living in London at that time ? Thanks Keith Thornton Ontario, Canada
