    3. Hi All: Since there _is_ someone on this list with access to the 1851 census for St. Albans, I'll reiterate my question about my most difficult brick wall: George GILES (father) could be b. about 1800 Sarah Jemima GILES, b. abt. 1830 St. Albans, daughter. Mother of the above may also have been Sarah or possibly Jemima as that name is passed down to Sarah's daughter Evelina. If they are not in St. Albans in 1851 would there be any possibility of finding them in 1841? Maybe they are to be found in a Hertfordshire directory in 1851 or close to 1841, that might give their address? In 1858, George was an office clerk, and Sarah was married to William Robert WILLCOCKS, widower, at St. Mary's, Portsea, Hampshire, so is known not to be still in Herts. I have recently found her details in the 1861 census in Shoreditch, Middlesex. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Martin Willcocks Taylorsville, UT, USA.
