Patricia The people living at Nascot Cottage (which from its name I would assume to be a cottage) at the time of the 1851 census were the Normbirts (Film 107/1714 Folios 341-357 Page 1) This is in Watford and would seem to be on the corner of St.Albans Road. Anne S. Goodison is NOT living at Nascot Cottage - she is living in Bushey, a village on the outskirts of Watford (Film 107/1714 Folios 79-96 Page 16) no other details of the address are given. I could not find Belinda Sarah Goodison. Hope that clarifies things Thelma ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patricia Frykberg" <patfryk@clear.net.nz> To: <ENG-HERTFORDSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 02, 2005 9:11 AM Subject: Re: [HRT] 1841/51/61 Census Returns > Dear Thelma referring to this message of yours on 28 March (it takes a > while > for the penny to drop these days!!) > Is Nascot Cottage then a village/boarding-house/??/apartment?? > Why should there be two heads of the same place and apparently two > separate > families Normbirts and Goodison? > I am totally bewildered.
