    3. I wonder if anyone with access to the 1851 census for Herts could check and see if Ann GARTON age ~ 28 and her husband Henry William Garton were living in Ware or surrounding area. Ann was a PAGE by birth - she married Henry in London in 1843 but they are not there in 1851 Her sisters married in London but then went back to Ware so I wonder did Ann do likewise. There are several more villages which fall under the Ware banner but, before I plough through them, do you have any idea where her sisters settled in Ware? Hi Thelma Thanks for looking - I would have expected them to be in Ware itself - her Dad lived in Upland Row - sisters Crib St and Middle Row and High St. One in Great Amwell Maybe she went to Australia - like her brother - well it's back to the drawing board. Their parents were Robert Welford Page ((14/12/1796 - 01/05/1859) m Mary Gibson Robert was the son of Edward Page (bpd 17/04/1758- br 10/11/1822) m Jane Welford Edward was the son of Henry Page (bpd 29/12/731 - ~1799) m Elizabeth Warren Henry was the son of Henry Page (bpd 01/08/1708 -25/10/1781) m Mary Richford Henry was the son of William Page (1673 -?) m Ann Newton I think William may have been the son of Edward Page from Baldock I have some Joseph and some Joshua in my tree. My lot lived in Ware - Do you have any of these amongst your listings?
