Hi All, I am new to this list and wish to post my research interests. HOWARD / COX / SMITH - Watford (Albert William HOWARD *c.1880 m. Ada COX in 1903 - son - Mornington William George HOWARD *1904 and m. in Watford 1927 to Elsie Isobel SMITH *1903 (d.o. George Henry SMITH) - daughter - Audrey Isobel HOWARD * 1929). Howards all born Watford but trying to confirm births of Cox and Smith but assume they were born in Watford as well. Would be most interested in hearing from anyone with similar interests. Hello Yvonne I assume that you have the marriage certificate for Ada Cox and Albert Howard which will give you the name of Ada's father. There are the following Ada Coxs born at about the right time in Hertfordshire Births Mar 1876 Cox Ada Hertford 3a 398 Births Jun 1884 Cox Ada Charlotte Watford 3a 519 Births Sep 1884 Cox Ada Edmonton 3a 380 Births Dec 1884 COX Ada Berkhampstead 3a 569 Births Dec 1884 COX Ada Joan Watford 3a 544 These references are from http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ With two Adas born in Watford in the same year, you will need to order a birth certificate to find the right one.
