    3. Ivan, A word of caution about e-mail filters. How do you control your filter settings for "new-to-you" cousins to contact you via e-mail? I use Hotmail's filter on one particular account. I used to use that address for all my RootsWeb lists so that's the address found in the archives. Forgetting I had left that e-mail address on a message board, I discovered recently a new cousin had been trying for over 2 years to contact me. It wasn't until I posted again with another e-mail address that she was able to contact me. I know how much problem spam can be, however sometimes we're working against ourselves by keeping the important messages out.
