Hi Thelma: Even though you turned up no entries for Sarah in 1851, the lack of success is still a help, since I can avoid asking the same question again. I will try the Portsmouth list. Were you able to find any 1841 census entries for the area? Also, what parish records are available for St. Albans churches in that period (1830-32).
