Hello, Do you mean, John BUTTERFIELD Christened 1 NOV 1640 son of George BUTTERFIELD & Joane HURST Who Married: 5 OCT 1665 in Lilley Hertfordshire to Mary Ancell they had a son John Christened 12 DEC 1666 at Lilley Hertfordshire. and may be others unknown. I have got back to a John Ancell in Watton at Stone born 1737, but have not yet persued it further. They all live in the same area, The only way ahead is to look at Parish Registers also PPC and Deanery Wills.
