Just starting to research my paternal grandmothers side of the family. Her name was Agnes BROWN b Hitchin 15/11/1879. She had two sisters Annie and Alice, these sisters did not marry. Their father was John Brown. The family moved into the Wellingborough area and there she married my grandfather William Robinson Sharman b 18/2/1877. I am looking for these Brown sisters, I think that their father's name was James and mother may be elizabeth. Any help in this please would be much appreciated. Eunice - Australia

In 1891 the family consists of 6 Squires Cottages Hitchin John Brown 53 Emily Brown 50 Annie Brown 23 Arthur Brown 18 Emily Brown 15 Agnes Brown 11 Alice Brown 8 In 1901 11a Herriotts Lane Wellingborough Northamptonshire. Emily has remarried Isaac Smith 64. Emily 60, Emily Brown Step dau 25; Agnes Brown 21; Alice Brown 18 Images sent off list. Hello Phil, I have a Hanna BROWN in Hundsdon, Hertford b. 1802, I know that this is not your time frame, but her father was John, mother Elizabeth Rose. She 'may' have been connected to you Brown's! My Hanna married Thomas CUTMORE in 1818. I have not yet researched her line.
