Hi List, Carrying on this topic, I once had the problem of deciding which Thomas and Ann's marriage was the correct one; both equi-distant from my parish of interest within 6 months of each other. I actually traced down each line from the parents and discovered that one of the grandchildren had been given his grandmother's maiden name as a middle name. It allowed me to pick the correct marriage! Another problem solved!!
