Hi Martin I have looked through part of the St.Albans area 1851 census but have only come up with two Giles families so far, each headed by a William and containing no Sarahs. I can give you details if you'd like them. Meantime, if you haven't yet been able to find Sarah, can you be any more specific re her birthplace and whether the family was actually in St.Albans in 1851?
