Hi Kevin, Yes of course, they would have been in Bygrave in 1841 - I must have had a brain fade. I will check British Origins again. William is on the '51 census, he's married with kids and his birthplace is recorded as Bygrave about 1824/5. He married Eliza Wilson, daughter of James and Ann Wilson of Edworth, Bedford.... not that far from Ashwell. I'm wondering if she was a cousin or something.
