Greetings to all My name is Peter Page and my interests are centred around Joseph aka Joshua Page born in Datchworth c1815 married Mary Wiltshire 1839 Hertingfordbury and fathered Eliza Rebecca Page who was baptised in Tewin 1840. Joshua was transported to VDL (Tasmania) in 1842 for stealing from his employer a tea merchant - thus making him a tea leaf ( thief ) in the real sense. The merchant name was Edward Rayment of Hertford. I have documented Joshua's descendeants in Australia but have never discoveredc the fate of his English born daughter Elizabeth Rebecca Page.
