Hi Can anyone help me with my Joseph Tavener? I have him on the 1861 census as married, aged 50 born in Hemel Hempstead but on the 1871 census his age is given as 23 and on the 1881 as 80 !! I believe he was married in 1847 in St Albans to Eliza Parkins and am waiting for the marriage certificate to confirm this. If anyone is researching the Tavener name I would be pleased to hear from them. Libby Tavener
