Paul, I have before me the birth certificate of my great grandmother Maria FORD b. Sarratt 15th January 1846, fourth child (of at least eleven) of James FORD and Eliza HEWER (sometimes EWER) who married in 1834 in Rickmansworth and later moved to Chorleywood. Does this ring any bells?
