    2. Karen: That question can be answered by going to _http://www.familysearch.org/_ (http://www.familysearch.org/) Click on their tab at the top that says Library and then on the next page click Family History Library Catalog. Then on this page look of the right and enter Puttenham and as part of Hertford (in their database they leave off the shire) and click search. Then click on the blue highlighted Puttenham and this will show you all the records available and when you click the census entry you will see that is does in fact say that 1841 is missing. But you will also see all the other records that are available that might make up for the loss. By clicking into the records you are interested in and click all blue highlighted names until you get to the final record page and then at the bottom of the page there will be a place to click for a printable version and it will be on that page that you will find the number of the microfilm to order to view those records. If you don't live near a family history center to order and view the films ask your local library if they have an arrangement to order and view films there and if not ask them if they will.. If you cannot find this let me know and I will help you to see the relevant pages. Good Luck, Cherie Lynn
