    3. Hi Jan: I am sorry I can't help on your Davis family but noticed you were researching the Barker name in Hertfordshire. My ggrandmother was Sarah Barker b. abt 1833 died 1879 in Weston. Her parents were Joseph Barker b. abt 1799 and Sarah Unkknown b. abt. 1797 Both in Weston. The 1851 census shows Joseph and Sarah Barker with four children Maryann 27 yrs William 2l yrs Sarah 18 yrs and George 8 yrs. My ggrandmother Sarah Barker married Joseph Blaxill in the Parish of Weston in 1858. Does any of the above match up with your search? Joanne

    3. Hi Joanne, Thanks for your e-mail. My 5x gt grandmother was Sarah BARKER, b in Witham in 1762. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth. Sarah married Robert WITTEY in 1782. I have no idea about other descendants of Thomas and Elizabeth. Not knowing the county well, whether Weston is near Witham or not, I suspect these families were not related, although you never know... Thanks again for getting in touch, Jan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joanne Bellon" <nolle-b@earthlink.net> To: <ENG-HERTFORDSHIRE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 06, 2005 4:34 PM Subject: [HRT] Jan White, Davis Family Herts > Hi Jan: I am sorry I can't help on your Davis family but noticed you were > researching the Barker name in Hertfordshire.
