Hi, I am new to this list, and wondered if anyone can help me with anything about the family of Thomas DAVIS [from Glamorgan] and his wife, Emily or Amelia (unknown surname). I know they were in Hemel Hempstead from at least 1827, possibly earlier. I would particularly like to know who sisters Margaret and Millicent married... Margaret DAVIS b about 1829, last known at 132 Farthing Yard, Hemel Hempstead, in 1851 Millicent DAVIS b about 1835, strangely enough, last known at 131 Farthing Yard, Hemel Hempstead, in 1851, unless one address number is just an error. I have one other sister (Emma) who's 1851 address was 131 but the rest of the family were at 132. George (b abt 1835) married Elizabeth (unknown surname) from Bedfordshire. I have no further details for them either. I am wondering if Joseph DAVIS could be the Joseph Morris DAVIS living at Durrants Hill in the 1881 census. I have no other info to guide me here. The only thing I know is that his father, Thomas, was a papermaker, and Joseph Morris DAVIS is a paper finisher.
