I noticed the above in the 1861 census at Clivige, Burnley, Lancs. on RG9/3074 (or 3079) F52 in household of William Thursby, Independent, born Northamptonshire. John Wells, Servant, u/m, 26, Butler, born Kings Langley. My gt gt grandmother Emma Sutton was there as Cook, but they obviously were not attracted! Hope it helps someone! Donald Massey
