    1. Hi Listers, Is there an 1841 census for Puttenham in Hertfordshire? I have been told it is missing. Anyone know for certain? I'm looking for a John and Caroline Seabrooks that lived there. Thanks for your comments. Karen

    3. Hi Karen, You can search the National Archives Catalogue on line for any missing census parts. Choose "Search the Catalogue" then on the search screen enter "missing" in the box "Word or Phrase" and "HO107" in the box "Department or Series Code". In the search results Puttenham is not shown as missing. You should be able to see it at the National Archives or The County Record Office. Some record searches need the word "wanting" so it is always worth trying both. Happy burrowing, Raymond
