(b.c 1834-Royston,Hertford,England Thomas and Eliza had 8 children. Thomas Robinson POTTER bc1857 - Royston Herts Harper POTTER, b Nov 1858, Kentisbeare, Devon, or Royston Herts depending on census Mary Jane POTTER bc1861, Kentisbeare, Devon William POTTER, b 1864 Kentisbeare, Devon Alfred Samuel POTTER, bc1866, Royston Herts Selina POTTER bc 1869 Royston Herts (marries George Robinson of Royston) Harry POTTER, bc 1871 Royston Herts Emily POTTER bc 1873 Royston Herts My problem is that for the life of me, I cannot find Eliza and Thomas's marriage, nor do I know her maiden name. From the IGI, I believe that it may be either: Eliza ROBINSON (note first sons middle name) Christening: 08 DEC 1833 Royston, Hertford, England Father: DANIEL ROBINSON Family Mother: SARAH or Elizabeth PRYOR Birth: 09 DEC 1834 Royston, Hertford, England Father: John Pryor Family Mother: Elizabeth But cannot determine for sure.... Harper (their second son) is a name that also occurs in Thomas's brother's family so I would doubt that it would be her maiden name.... Any help would be most appreciated. Sandra in Ontario, Canada
