Dear Lister, I'm pretty sure that my GGG Grandparents were Robert PALLETT (1761 - 1832) and Elizabeth INNS (1767 - 1830), both of the Aston/Stevenage area. If anyone connects with either family I would be please to hear from them. Also if there is a connection with Jeremiah INNS who was seemingly a man of some substance in the Stevenage area, evidence as follows: Newspaper Cutting (The Times) 2/11/1945: 'Wills and Bequests Gift for Hospital Mr Jeremiah INNS, of Stevenage, Herts, left £1,080,982. He bequeathed his residence and effects to his wife during widowhood and then, if his residence is accepted, as a hospital to the Stevenage Urban District Council for a hospital together with £10,000; a piece of land, not exceeding one acre and £9,000 for four almshouses for poor persons resident in Stevenage for five years, and a similar bequest for four almshouse in Aston, Herts.'
