HOMWOOD and an email came back as undeliverable. BYW: You are the first that has answered any of my queries into England as an active searcher other than someone a while back that indicated there were no more BATE's (BATES') living in the Lydd, Kent, Eng area. From the above, and your response, it may be possible to link what you have with the WOOD FAMILY listing but it needs further proofs either direct or indirect. Also, FYI, if this can be linked to my GGGGF and if John BATES (1695) linked backward to the Lydd area it will link me to the Bate of Lydd family dating backward to the 1400's (known) and possible the Celt invasion abt 1030. If you want, I can detach a GEDCOM of the above and email it to you for any further research you my think is needed. Also, I will be retiring in a couple of months and moving so my email address will probably change shortly after I move and this one will be defunct though I plan on keeping the WGB97 part but with a different ISP.
