Hi All Can anyone help me with the HEDGE families of St.Albans. I think I have a Maria HEDGE who either married a Robert SKINNER or a Charles WAGLAND in 1867. I also have a Philip HEDGE who married an Annelope CURD. Any help with these names or any other HEDGE's would be great. Hi Paul, Via Ancestry, I have found a Charles & Maria WAGLAND on the 1871 census of Upton cum Chalvey, Bucks: PRO Ref: RG10/1401, folio 3, page 3 Schedule 16, 2 Arbor Vale Charles WAGLAND Head Mar 27 Paperhanger Middx Pimlico Maria do Wife do 27 Herts Sarratt Eva do Daur Unm 4 Bucks Slough Charles do Son " 3 do do May do Daur " 3 mos do do Could this be your Maria. I looked for a Philip Hedge and there was one born in Sarratt also. Is this likely to be your Philip?? There seem to be quite a number of HEDGEs who were born in Sarratt. Hope this helps.
