Thelma, Thank you so much for the look up, I'm fairly sure this is my Mary, as her family ties in with some other bits I found out last night! I read your other message too, I'd already found them on the 1881, but was really interested to find out who her mother was! I'm still not sure, it looks like it's likely Ann or Martha (the name connection would suggest Martha of course!) but who knows. And I've found her grandmother too, which is exciting! Thanks so much!
