Hi everyone Is there anyone out there who can throw some light on Josh/Elizabeth. I have them marrying in Ware in 1878. Children born to them were Elizabeth b.1879 and William b.1880 both in Waltham Abbey. The last I can find for all of them was in 1881 census living in Cheshunt with William Packford (Elizabeths father). Please can anyone help,it would be really appreciated. Regards Pamela.

1891 census: William Page, aged 17, born 1874 in Waltham, Herts. Living with his parents: Josiah Page b 1861 and Nellie Page b 1861. They are living in Shoreditch, London. ******** 1901 census: William Page b 1881 in Waltham, Herts. Parents: Josh b 1857 Herts. and Nellie b 1861. They are living in the Parish of Edmonton, Middlesex. There is also another child  listed: Herbert H. Pamela, Could Elizabeth PAGE nee PACKFORD have died as there is a death registration on FreeBMD in the September qtr 1884 at Edmonton reg district (includes Cheshunt), vol 3a, page 219 of an Elizabeth PAGE, aged 24 which fits in very well with the 1881 census info you already have. Perhaps she died in childbirth or soon after and the Herbert H PAGE living with the Josh & Nellie PAGE in the 1901 census is in fact her son. This Herbert H PAGE is living with a relative in Ware in the 1891 census, the relatives being a Frederick and Sarah A SMITH both born Ware - do these names ring any bells. Could Josh PAGE have remarried a Nellie?? There is this Elizabeth PAGE who could perhaps be the daughter in the 1901 census of Sawbridgeworth, Herts: RG13/1286, folio 11, page 17 North End (The Bull) Elizabeth PAGE Boarder S 21 Essex Waltham Abbey She is living in the household of a Henry AVIS, Licensed Victualler.
