    3. Hi, I have just down loaded a Will which I think might be my husbands 6G Grandfather Richard WADE. I have had the parish film of records for TRING which started with a marriage of John WADE (5G Grandfather) and Mary KEMPSTER in 1731. The Will refers to Richard WADE of Tringford in the Parish of Tring in the County of Hertford. If the earlier generations didn't baptize and marry at Tring what other possibilities for parish records that I could look?? Richards death appears to have been around 1713 -1724. The will written in 1713 and the probate 1724. His son John didn't marry until 1731. Thank you Regards, Pat Wade (Nee King)

    3. Hi, you could get a parish map of Hertfordshire and try all the parishes around Tring .....you could check the Allen Marriage index and see where the Wades are clustered , if they are clustered , and for more wills both PCC and Herts ....... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Wade" <[email protected]> To: "Hertford" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 15, 2008 12:42 PM Subject: [HRT] Tringford > Hi, > > I have just down loaded a Will which I think might > be my husbands 6G Grandfather Richard WADE. > > I have had the parish film of records for TRING > which started with a marriage of John WADE (5G > Grandfather) and Mary KEMPSTER in 1731. > > The Will refers to Richard WADE of Tringford in > the Parish of Tring in the County of Hertford. > > If the earlier generations didn't baptize and > marry at Tring what other possibilities for parish > records that I could look?? > > Richards death appears to have been around 1713 > -1724. 3. Pat, as well as looking in the Hertfordhire parishes around Tring ( Aldbury, Long Marston, Puttenham etc) you should also look over the country borders in Buckinghamshire around Ivinghoe and even in Bedfordshire around Whipsnade. 3. Hi Anne, Thank you so much for these suggested areas near by. I finally read further in the Will and it mentions that he had bought property in Marsworth, Bucks. So I now have a couple of parishes well worth looking at. Thank you for your help.
