Could it be Standon? Standon and Hunsdon were both in Hertfordshire's Braughing Hundred. Aah! could be, couldn't it? On the HALS website it's typed as Stondon but I've ordered a copy of the actual entry, so hopefully that will clarify matters. Thanks Ray.
