Dear Roy, Could only find a very similar entry in the Liverpool Mercury. Again no name, and it looked as if it had come from the same source. It did have the birth date as the 14th April though. Looked at the Herts CD for the 1851 census but that didn't offer much, the victaullers listed didn't appear to either match ages or have enough children listed to make them worth looking at further. One thing I did think of was what if they were't actually from Watford itself, but an outlying village.... perhaps one may need to look in the surrounding area..... Oh, dear, looks more difficult already! Only other thing I can think of is if you, or someone, could look at the Watford newspaper for that week at HALS or Collingwood which may give more details.
