Is it possible the parents are John Reeve and Sarah foster married 25 Oct 1807 Bovingdon, Hertford, England. In 1851 There is a Sarah Reeve in Bovingdon with a grandson George Reeve age 5 born Bovingdon - Sarah is a Widow and age 73 holding 6 acres of land and she was born in Sarratt. I believe this George Reeve is the son of Thomas Reeve and Eliza as he shows up with this family in Bovingdon Green in 1861 age 15 along with siblings John, 13, Sarah 11, Ann 9, Joanna 4 and Jane Eliza 1. interestingly enough he is a Hay dealer and holding 6 acres (possibly the same 6 acres as Sarah Reeve the 73 year old mother - grandmother in 1851) All the above family listed as born in Bovingdon. In the meantime in 1851 your George Reeve (born Bovindon) age 38 and Maria (born Sarratt) age 30 with children Henry age 8, Jane Sophia age 5 and Peter age 1 are living in flaunden - all three children listed as Flaunden. In 1841 John Reeve Farmer age 58 and Sarah Reeve age 58 are in the district of Hemel Hempstead in the townland of Little Mills.- Bovindgon Green is just a couple of entries along from this place.
