Barbara, There seem to be variations on the census returns: 1871 James born Watford Herts Eliza born Kingston Surrey 1881 James born Kingston Eliza born ditto Eliza's sister down as 'Jean Brackwell'(But there seem to have been a whole set of Brockwells from Kingston so I think the name is not in doubt, just how it was sometimes recorded.) 1891 Ancestry has Love joy as 'Louegoy' James born Hertfordshire (Transcribed 'Herefordshire') Eliza born Surrey Malden It is also possible that a marriage never took place.
