Yes there is a time limit. Normally 20 years, but can be extended at the discretion of the treasury to 30 years. Hi Sandra, According to the FAQ: http://www.bonavacantia.gov.uk/default.asp?pageid=1307 the standard length is 12 years, but you're right about the 30 year part. Hi Guys and Gals Talking of heirs - can anyone suggest what to do if one finds a will in which one is a beneficiary but no money was ever received (other beneficiaries didn't get theirs either).
