Hi listers, I'm looking for information on the marriage of Aaron HALE to Alice Emma ??. Specifically, I'd like to find out Alice Emma's maiden name. Aaron was born c1856 in Hoddesdon, Herts. His parents were Joseph HALE born c1816 and Susannah ??? b c1815 (there's another maiden name I'd like to find out!) In the 1881 census, Aaron is 25, unmarried and living with his parents in Hoddesdon. His first child was christened in January 1882. Alice Emma was born in Ware c 1857. Their children were Alice Emma Elizabeth b1882, Florence Mary c1883, William Charles c1885, Susan Mary c1887, Ada Maud c1889 and Daisy May c1894. I haven't yet found them in the 1891 census, but in 1901 the family lived in Waltham Holy Cross, Essex. Any info gratefully received! Lisa
