Yes I had also found a marriage between a William Hanscombe and Sarah Jarvis but somewhere in my research files the name Sarah Francois is the connection to the Hanscombe line, but as yet Icannot bring it altogether. I do not know the age of Elizabeth Ada Hanscombe or where she was born so have no era to place them in. All I know is Joseph Rolfe born in 1844 married Elizabeth Ada Hanscombe, when I don't know. I presume as I cannot find them in the UK the link must be in some other country. Will continue searching and thanks so much for your time.
