Hi again D. Howe As I have said before regarding Robert Howe and Margaret Whitmore, Hatfield Broad Oak is not in Hertfordshire but in the County of Essex. Tho' Essex borders onto Hertfordshire you might get answers if you subscribe to the Rootsweb Essex List. Their records are, of course, held at the Essex Record Office.
