Hi Judy According to my tree, William Cooper 1795 probably died before 1803 as another William was born to this couple in 1803. They were the sons of William Cooper and Frances Pooley, married 8 May 1786 Ashwell (just a short distance from Baldock). Frances was born 1765 Ashwell, daughter of Thomas POOLEY & Rebeckah JEAVE m 12 Oct 1757 Litlington, Cambs. William 1803 was probably too young to marry in 1816.
