Hi Bev, A look at my resources shows me that your couple (or another couple) Josiah and Elizabeth Parker were in Australia by 1834 This makes for very interesting research as that is early settlement here in Australia. When I googled his name I found this entry NEW SOUTH WALES 1832 Passener Index by Jenny Fawcett Index to those listed in the newspaer shipping columns - noting that Josiah is departing. He may be going back to England to pick up Elizabeth? Parker Mr and Mrs A Parker C A Parker Josiah D Parker Mr A I found this marriage here in Australia but it is not Elizabeth James.
