    3. Good Morning Anthony, Thank you so very much. I cannot tell you how very much I appreciate this information. How do I access the information from The Genealogist ? For all the years - I have been part of this family - The child was always referred to as Sonny.by my in laws - He was entered into a Better Baby Contest - under that name. So - we assumed that this was his birth name. I could only guess at the aprox birth date of the child. Our Vital Statistics Registry - would not allow me to purchase the registration of birth - without proof of the death. *brother in law had destroyed all family papers - after my mother in law passed away - leaving research - at a later time - very difficult. Earlier this year I found my mother in law on a passenger list to England - and included the boys name - and the notation that he had passed away aboard ship. Thank you again for your help - It has been a gift - Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas - the Very Best New Year Cheers, Stella At 11:17 PM 18/12/2009, you wrote: >Stella >The death was registered. 3. Good Morning Stella If in doubt go to the www.gro.gov.uk site and Register/Log in. You choose Death certificates (overseas); I just checked that this includes marine deaths. The Genealogist requires a subscription or possibly you can buy credits but I think you can trust me on this one. The GRO index merely shows name, age, vessel and the page number. It is a really nice web site for the UK but does not have as much stuff as Ancestry. Have a good Christmas Anthony ________________________________ Fra: eng-hertfordshire-bounces@rootsweb.com på vegne af Stella Stanger Sendt: lø 19-12-2009 22:07 Til: eng-hertfordshire@rootsweb.com Emne: Re: [HRT] ENFIELD LODGE,Southgate, Hertfordshire OLIVER surname Good Morning Anthony, Thank you so very much.
