Hi Liz Looking at the PRs for Hemel Hempstead there appears to be a family that at various entries varies between Everett, Everet and Evered. If so then your John was baptised St Mary Hemel Hempstead as John Evered born 9.6.1794 and baptised 28.8.1794 father Thomas mother Ann. Thomas Evered married Ann Linney 3.11.1787 at St Mary Hemel Hempstead. Thomas is most probably the Thomas Everett baptised St Mary Hemel Hempstead 27.4.1766 son of Thomas and Mary.
