    3. Hi all, I was wondering if anyone local to the Kimpton area knows whether the Moss Children's Home (also known as Meadow Cottage) is still standing, and if so, whereabouts in Kimpton is it? We are quite likely making a trip to Kimpton this week, and it's one of the places my Mum would love to see if it still exists, as it was built by a distant relative of ours. Would really appreciate any assistance! Thanks, Becky

    3. Hi Becky, It certainly comes up on Google Maps as: Meadow Cottage, High St, Kimpton, Hitchin, Hertfordshire SG4 8RA. It is just west of The White Horse. In Street View a house in the approximate vicinity has an oval sign to the right of the front door with two words that are indistinct but of the right length to be Meadow Cottage. The Kimpton Village site has an account of the Moss Home during WW2 at http://www.kimptonvillage.tsohost.co.uk/war.htm Good hunting.
