In 1925 my Gt Grandfather Harry Wright and his wife Rosina and children Rosina and Harry lived at 30 Holywell Hill, St Albans. Google Streets now shows it as a restaurant called Villadina with 2 storeys above. Does anyone know if it has always been a shop with flats above and what shop it used to be in 1925? Or was it just a residential address? Any help would be appreciated. Regards CerocChick

Assuming the street numbers have not been changed it was a public house in 1901. This was also the case in 1911 (you need to look at the enumerator's book to see this). For closer to your date HALS no doubt have Kelly's Directory.
