G'day all, Further to my mail to contact Theresa regarding problems with comcast.net, Theresa has contacted the ISP and was advised to action this link: http://www.comcastsupport.com/Forms/NET/blockedprovider.asp and that it would take 3-5 days to fix.......unbelievable. Comcast alleged that the blocking was because of "exorbitant amount of mail", what a joke! This info is repeated as a way of thanking the List and as advice to other Listers who have been similarly "blocked". Thanks Theresa. Bill Melbourne, Oz

Back again, Have been onto Comcast and an automated response told me that my addy was not blocked. Further checked that the problem appears to be something about Westchester PA, all too gobblygook to me. Am now awaiting a response from (hopefully) a human at Comcast. BFN Bill
Verizon and another - THEY ARE 'TESTING' AS IN CONSIDERING CHARGING all their customers 'to go to sites' that use a lot of bandwidth - using a blocking process that has caught the attention of FCC - Google CBS and ABC news - I forgot which one [maybe both] featured on news this am - Apr 7th - The importance of it would have escaped me except for these postings - Hope this helps someone when even trying to call Comcast.
