Ayot Green is where my ggg grandmother was born. It is still a nice place despite its proximity to the A1. Anthony Thanks Anthony, that site is awesome and mentions a few relevant people so just what I wanted. I notice that Ayot Lodge is the same as 1 Ayot Green. What sort of house would that be? The lady I am researching lived there but I see that the Davies family lived there and on the wedding certificate the Reverand was Jim Davies and witnesses were G Davies (George) and other Davies people.
